New hybrid training Cleanroom Cleaning Essentials - registration is open!

Cleaning and disinfection are essential to preventing (cross-)contamination in the pharmaceutical industry. Biotech Training Facility is therefore launching a new course, developed together with partner CWS Cleanrooms: Cleanroom Cleaning Essentials. This intensive blended training teaches participants how to clean and disinfect a cleanroom correctly, covering everything from the right materials and techniques to proper documentation. First session is planned on January 26th 2027!

This one-day course combines theory with a substantial practical component. Beyond the mandatory e-learning beforehand, the training day covers topics such as personal health and safety, choosing the right cleaning materials and agents, and the various cleaning and disinfection techniques used within a GMP environment. Participants learn why careful cleaning is essential to maintaining proper cleanroom conditions and safeguarding product quality.

The theory is followed by practice: participants train in correctly dressing for cleanroom access and end the day with a real-life cleanroom cleaning exercise in Biotech Training Facility's own cleanrooms. The course is aimed at cleaning staff, production support personnel, and anyone responsible for cleanroom cleaning, and also serves as an excellent refresher for experienced staff.
